New to Tennis in Houston
The Houston Tennis Association (HTA), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization has been serving tennis players in the Houston area since 1952 and is the Houston area community tennis association.
The HTA staff is here to welcome you into the Houston tennis community.
The HTA National Junior Tennis & Learning works closely with the Houston Parks and Recreation Department's free youth tennis program offered at a variety of public parks throughout the year. The program is designed to provide children with the fundamentals of the game of tennis and educational components that develop life skills. For more information about tennis at the parks and the HTA NJTL program, please call 713-803-1112. Houston Junior Tennis & Learning.
If you are a tournament player, the Calendar of Events will help you find tournaments that are available for your participation. HTA maintains continous contact with the tennis pros in the Houston area so that new events are quickly posted on our Web site. Tournament fees verify from tournament to tournament and direct contact with the tournament organizers is suggested.
If you wish to participate in league play, you will need to contact a league staff member to assist you in finding a team. You can have your choice of playing in singles, doubles and / or mixed leagues and will need to inform us of your skill level and your location.
